FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and medical equipment. A circle that encloses a mark and a point object is presented to the patient being tested. The point object moves round a circle at specified speed. At the moment position of the moving point object is supposed to match with the mark, the patient presses "Stop" button to stop circular motion of the point object. Then a mismatch error of the point object and the mark that is error time of delay with a positive sign or advance with a negative sign is calculated. The circular motion of the point object is recommenced in preset time, the described procedure is performed for preset number of times, then total errors of delay is calculated

where xi is the i-th error of delay, ms; n is number of delays, and total errors of advance is calculated

where yj is j-th error of advance, ms; k is number of advances. The estimate of excitation and inhibition correlation of central nervous system is determined by comparing total errors of delay and total errors of advance.

EFFECT: invention extends the range of products to estimate excitation and inhibition correlation in CNS.
