FIELD: medicine; physiology.
SUBSTANCE: marked circle and point object circling at given speed are showed on videomonitor. At the moment of supposed match of point object and mark on the circle tested person press button "Stop" and thereby stops point object circling. At this moment point object and mark mismatch error is calculated. Delayed mismatched is indicated with positive sign, while advanced mismatch is indicated with negative sign. After specified period of time is expired point object circling is recommenced. Specified procedure is repeated for certain times. After that human reaction time Tr to moving object is calculated as arithmetical mean by formula: 
where ti - ith delayed error with positive sign or advanced error with negative sign, ms; n - number of point object stops within marked area.
EFFECT: increases evaluating accuracy of human reaction to moving object.
