FIELD: ecology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of control of permeability of filters from active coals and can be used in sphere of ecology, as well as for control, including operational, of filtering means for respiratory organs protection. Method of non-destroying control of coal layer permeability includes pulse dosing of well-sorbable indication substance into air flow passing through controlled layer and determining coefficient of indication substance permeability through the layer by means of detector. As indication substance iron pentacarbonyl is taken. As detector, detector of molecular condensation nuclei is used. Into air flow parallel to controlled layer standardised model is installed. Testing of controlled layer and standardised model is carried out at one go, for which purpose indication substance is introduced in general air flow passing through controlled layer and standardised model. Flow, leaving the layer, is additionally passed through buffer, then joined with flow leaving the model, and joined flow is directed into detector.

EFFECT: invention ensures increase of method descriptiveness, reduction of labour intensiveness and simplification of control.
