FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: static pressure receivers (SPR) are arranged on outer surface of inner and outer engine nacelles. SPR readings and those of air pressure receiver (APR) are compared in aircraft reverse-thrust run. If there is no mismatch between SPR and APR readings, engine reverse thrust is kept constant. If there is mismatch between SPR readings, or between readings of ASR arranged on outer engine nacelles and those of APR, reverse thrust is decreased till elimination of mismatch between aforesaid readings. SPR and APR readings are compared during aircraft run till cutting off reverse thrust.
EFFECT: reduction of loads on crew and protection of aircraft engine against ingress of reverse jets and foreign matters.
