FIELD: engines and pumps; aviation.
SUBSTANCE: on surface of engine nacelles static pressure receivers are installed. Readings of static pressure receivers installed on the surface of engine nacelles are compared to readings of standard air pressure receiver during airplane run with application of thrust reverse. In case there are no discrepancies between readings of static pressure receivers installed on the surface of engine nacelles and readings of air pressure receiver, value of reverse thrust in internal engines is left invariable. If discrepancies appear between readings of static pressure receivers installed on surface of engine nacelles and readings of air pressure readings, value of engine reverse thrust is reduced until mentioned discrepancies are eliminated. Comparison of readings of static pressure receivers installed on surface of engine nacelles to readings of air pressure receiver and variation of aviation engine reverse thrust value is realised during airplane run until disconnection of thrust reverse.
EFFECT: reduction of load on crew during run of double-engine airplane with application of thrust reverse with provision of landing characteristics of airplane and engines protection against ingress of reverse jets and foreign objects.
