SUBSTANCE: combing-machine of the batch operation can be used in the wool branch of the textile industry and at the worsted factories. The machine includes the combing cylinder with the needle bars and cylinder brush divided into the group of the brush bars. Each group of the brush bars has at least two separate brush bars fixed together in the slots along the generating cylinder brush with the pitch equal to the pitch of the location of the comb cylinder needle bars. Separate brush bars forming the group of brush bars are fixed with the shift in the radial direction so the cleaning surface of their groups forms the inclined surface with the angle of 15°÷26° as to the normal line of the cylinder brush, and the quantity of the comb cylinder needle bars amounts to 13÷14.

EFFECT: invention improves the security and the quality of the cleaning of the comb cylinder needles along its length, decreases the fibre rupture, increases the quality of the comber waste, decreases unevenly of the comb tape along the staple structure, improves the structure of the linear density and decreases tear and wear of the brush.
