FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of construction, namely to methods and devices for control of passenger traffic in vestibules of subway stations. Method for control of number of people available in vestibules of subway stations waiting to go to escalator that has a limitation on throughput capacity, including limitation of throughput capacity of entrance doors by means of doors blocking in closed position by means of mechanical facilities through efforts of subway station personnel. Doors are arranged with entered people accounting detectors installed on them with the possibility of comparison with the help of computer processing of data on number of people that passed through turnstiles and control of passenger flow within required limits by means of automatic opening or closing of required part of doors number, to control throughput capacity of subway station in case of standard loads and in case of occurred emergencies.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase efficiency of fast isolation of access to vestibule of subway station.
