FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining, in particular - to a method for protection of linings of pit shafts with horizontal non-productive excavations. The method for reinforcement of a concrete coupling lining of a vertical pit shaft with a horizontal non-productive excavation in salty rock involves erecting in the horizontal excavations a main lining and a reinforcement lining installed horizontally in thrust and represented by a concrete partition at a distance from the vertical shaft no more than 0.25 of its diametre and equipped with damping elements arranged between the partition and the excavation wall. One part of a damping element is rigidly attached between the partition and the excavation wall while the other is shaped as a console flexibility unit. The partition is erected for its height to be 0.5-0.7 of the coupling height; its thickness is defined depending on the strength properties of the rocks in accordance with a mathematical formula while the console units are designed so that their width exceeds the partition width.

EFFECT: extension of the coupling safe operation period, reduction of the value of the excavation wall horizontal convergence.
