FIELD: information technologies.
SUBSTANCE: set of replicas includes a set of resources. Each resource is connected to resource data and resource meta-data. For the systems based on files, resource data includes file content and attributes whereas resource meta-data includes additional attributes which are important for approving synchronisation during duplication. To the meta-data connected to each resource there added is an additional field called "a restricting value". First, restricting values are compared during synchronisation. Resource with maximum restricting value includes the content which performs the control and which is duplicated. If restricting values are equal (and exceed a certain value), controllable resources are determined based on other meta-data.
EFFECT: providing control of content duplication.
