FIELD: metallurgy industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to cold bending of sheet metal, and namely to bending of workpieces 0.5 to 1 mm thick in small-scale manufacturing conditions. Sheet bending machine consists of a stand, a bending mechanism, a hold-down frame with a drive, and lever eccentric hold-down mechanism interacting with hold-down frame. At that, stand is welded and made in the form of at least two pairs of diagonal braces connected by longitudinal and transverse braces. Hold-down frame is made in the form of longitudinal tube freely installed in restrictors on diagonal braces of the stand, where length of the above tube is equal to the stand length, transverse profiles welded to it above each pair of diagonal braces and operating part in the form of an angle connected to free edges of the above profiles. Hold-down frame drive serves for pre-clamping and is foot-controlled, and lever eccentric hold-down mechanism serves for final clamping of the workpiece and is made in the form of hold-down levers and eccentrics connected to each other by means of a tube. At that, eccentrics are fixed in brackets installed on transverse braces of the stand so that they can interact with transverse profiles of hold-down frame.
EFFECT: efficiency is increased and operating conditions are improved.
