FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: molybdenum trioxide and phosphoric acid are dissolved in concentrated sulphuric acid at temperature ranging from 50 to 70°C while stirring. Vanadium anhydride is added to the obtained solution. The mixture is heated and stirred until complete dissolution of vanadium pentoxide. Initial compounds are taken in stoichiometric quantities. The obtained heteropoly acids have general formula H3+nPVnMo12-nO40 where n varies from 1 to 6.
EFFECT: cutting on synthesis time to between 4 and 8 hours.
