METHOD FOR PREPARATION OF PLUGGING COMPOSITION IN WELL Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC E21B33/138 

FIELD: oil and gas production.

SUBSTANCE: suggestion is related to oil and gas production industry, in particular to methods for preparation of plugging composition in well in order to carry out repair and insulation works. It includes lowering a perforated nozzle on oil well tubing into operational pipe, serial pumping of structure-forming reagent into oil well tubing, as well as cushion of buffer fluid and structure former and further mixing of structure-forming reagent with structure former as perforated nozzle is lifted on oil well tubing. Inside a perforated nozzle in its upper part there is a through ring installed, and a seat ring is provided in its lower part. After structure-forming reagent exits into tube space, and part of buffer fluid volume goes to oil well tubing, a separating plug is installed. Moment of reagent and buffer fluid volume part exit into tube space is detected by pumping overpressure, which occurs as separating plug is put onto through ring. Seat ring, prior to lift of oil well tubing, is closed with separating plug, therefore it provides for even distribution of structure former in structure-forming reagent by injection of structure former into structure-forming reagent via holes on nozzle body.

EFFECT: improved quality of plugging composition due to improved accuracy of control over volume of mixed components of plugging composition and more even distribution of structure former in structure-forming reagent.
