SUBSTANCE: invention refers to testing engineering, particularly to strength test. The impact pendulum-type testing machine for testing samples of materials under shock loading consists of a bed whereon the following is assembled: a wheel and a pendulum radially installed on the wheel and containing the first rigid rod and a flexible cantilevered plate with load at the end, a striker secured to the first rod, the second rod connected to the wheel, a claw for a sample arranged on the second rod, a guide for axial transfer and rotation of the second rod, a holder of transfer and a holder of rotation of the second rod. Also a fork is fastened at the end of the second rod; the wheel is arranged with a gap between fork teeth and kinematically interacts with them.
EFFECT: enhanced information value by means of loading sample at changing direction of shifting load.
