SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a testing technique, in particular to a pendulum impactors. Pendulum impactor contains a frame, placed on it is a pendulum in the form of a rigid rod, one end of which is pivotally connected by a turntable with a frame, an elastic element cantilever-mounted on the other end of the rod; a weight mounted on the free end of the elastic element; a sample gripper attached to the frame; and an electromagnetic lock for interaction with the rod. Pendulum impactor is additionally equipped with a rotational drive mounted on the turntable and connected to the rod, an additional sample grip, and a drummer mounted on the rod, while the electromagnetic lock is fixed on the additional grip, the drummer is made in the form of a ring of ferromagnetic material and is installed with the possibility of rotation about the axis of the rod and interaction with the electromagnetic lock, and the elastic element is made in the form of a rod of non-circular cross section.
EFFECT: increase in the volume of information by conducting research both at constant and variable stiffness of loading during tests.
