FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manual portable cutting tools used in gardening. The scissors have moving and stationary blades with cutting edges, oscillation unit of the moving blade and a blade movement drive. The blades are made capable of intercrossing and tight closure of the cutting edges between themselves. The point of intercrossing of the cutting edges of the blades can shift from free ends of the blades to the pivot centre of the moving blade while finishing cutting. There can be a device located on the free ends of the blades and used for prevention of releasing the cutting edges while cutting. The oscillation unit of the moving blade in accordance with one version of manufacture ensures intended axial movement of the occupied end of the moving blade depending on its rotation angle relative to the stationary blade in the course of every cutting cycle. The blade moving drive can be made as a stationary bush, a rod with a handle, a moving bush, a tube having a lever with a handle as well as a tip and a kick stop.

EFFECT: improved ergonomical characteristic of the scissors.
