FIELD: plastic working of materials, namely manual cutting of rolled strips. SUBSTANCE: shears include base with working table and stationary cutter secured to it; jointly mounted in base lever with movable cutter, shackle jointly connected with lever and handle. Shackle is jointly connected with handle through link jointly connected with base. Handle is rigidly secured to link. On working table elongated stationary stop is mounted normally relative to cutting edge of stationary cutter; stop is mounted in such a way that it covers edges of cutters in zone of cutting end. Working plane of stop is normal relative to plane of working table. Measuring gage in the form of slide gage is placed in lever normally relative to plane of cutter arrangement. In movable carriage of said slide gage stopper is mounted; working plane of it is normal relative to plane of working table and its axis is arranged in plane of working table. Size value of working plane of stopper is no less than value of working stroke of movable cutter. Cutters are removable ones, they have cutting edges at opposite sides and they are mounted with possibility of vertical motion. Spring-loaded member for returning lever in initial position is mounted in base under free end of lever. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of cutting, lowered cutting effort applied by operator. 2 dwg
