FIELD: personal and household goods.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to canning knives. Knife contains a rail, on which a handle is installed, a centering unit with a cone-needle, a cutting unit with a blade oriented along the normal to the longitudinal axis of the rail, and means for adjusting the distance between the axis of the cone-needle and the plane of the cutting edge of the blade and fixing in at least two positions for cutting the tin can along the radius. Cutting unit is provided with a U-shaped cross-section, located in the longitudinal vertical plane of the rail, located under the rod opposite the centering unit. Cone needle is oriented along the normal to the longitudinal axis of the rod. Centering unit is mounted to be movable on said rail by means of a movable clutch with a lock.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at expanding the technical and operational characteristics of the device.
