SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and repair works, and more specifically to construction and repairing asphalt coating, and can be used when reusing asphalt concrete. The method of producing mineral powder involves grinding asphalt-containing material. Crushed asphalt concrete is ground in a centrifugal-impact mill with rotational speed of 50 to 100 m/s.
EFFECT: obtaining mineral powder capable of increasing density of asphalt concrete and reducing its water saturation with simultaneous reduction of asphalt content in the mixture.
