FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves making piles (width 5.5 m, height 2.5 m and length 100 m or more) from poultry droppings with simultaneous moistening to 55 to 65% moisture content and sprinkling the pile with a liquid (2 l per 1 ton of poultry droppings) microbiological agent with the following composition (in wt %): 15 to 20 culture liquid (CL) of Lactobacillus plantarum, 34, B 2118; 25 to 30 culture liquid Lactobacillus fermentum, 27, B 2431; 5 to 10 culture liquid Lactococcus lactis, strain AMC, B 3123; 15 to 20 liquid culture Bacillus cytaseus, 21/2/AS, B 4441; 15 to 20 liquid culture Bacillus cereus, PXTY BT-5; 10 to 15 liquid culture Bacillus subtillis, GL, B 8130 20-30 aqueous suspension filtrate, containing 20 to 30% fresh cattle or horse dung; 0.05 to 0.1 microelement complex; the rest - alkali solution (K+, Na+, NH4 +) to pH from 5.5 to 6.0. The piles are mixed: the first right away or after 2 to 4 days, subsequent mixing - until attaining temperature of 60 to 70°C in the pile (at a depth of 1 m) and maintaining the same temperature for not less than 2 days. The last mixing is done without moistening, providing for moisture content of 30% through evaporation using biological heat. The version of the method is used in summer. The second version, which is similar to the first, is used in winter and summer, with the microbiological complex introduced into the compost mass in granular form (through preliminary immobilisation of microorganisms on dispersion water absorbent solid-phase carriers like dry ground compost, beet pulp, peat, expanded pearlite) or in form of sowing compost, made based on the main compost mass with additives of cattle or horse dung and a microbiological complex in liquid form (third version) or in granular form (fourth version) by distributing it on the surface of the pile with subsequent mixing. The piles are moistened combined with repeated mixing. The obtained biocompost is taken for storage or further processing.
EFFECT: faster fermentation process with increased biological activity of the fertiliser at the same time.
