SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of rare metals, particularly to method of processing of vanadium-bearing raw material: vanadium ores, vanadium-bearing slag of metallurgical manufacturing, treated vanadium catalysts, fuel-oil residues by hydrometallurgical methods and, particularly to complex treatment of Karatau quartzites by percolation leaching methods. Method of processing of vanadium-bearing raw material includes two-stage heap leaching of vanadium, sorption of vanadium from efficient solutions, complete consolidation of circulating manifold of sorption of sulfuric acid and its feeding to leaching. Before leaching raw material is laid into heap with simultaneous blending with vitriol oil with consumption not less than 30 kg/t and is leached at the first stage by circulating manifolds of sorption with water concentration 3.5-4.5 l/m²hour and cycles number not less than 3. Complete consolidation of circulating manifolds by sulfuric acid is implemented up to its content 8.0-8.5% and fed to heap at the second stage of leaching.

EFFECT: increasing of extraction ratio of vanadium into solution, providing of steady-state load on sorption limit and reduction of cost price of final product.
