FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of hydraulic pumps, compressors, vacuum pumps, as well as to hydraulic and air-operated engines based thereon. Proposed volumetric nutation machine comprises housing with sphere and cones made therein, disk rigidly coupled with ball support and adjoining the sphere by its outer circumference and, along closing lines, the cones. It comprises also blade fastened radially in aforesaid cones and fitted in the disk cutout, ball support adjoining the blade inner circumference and cones, intake and exhaust openings, shaft and ball bearings. Ball support is fitted in shaft bearings inclined for angle equal to that of disk inclination. Intake and exhaust openings are made in disk on both sides from the blade and adjoining to it to be aligned with those in housing. Length of disk faces on both side of the blade matches that of aforesaid intake and exhaust openings to allow contact of disk both faces with the blade at maximum angle of disk turn relative to blade.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, simpler design and longer life.
