FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to internal combustion engines. Proposed engine comprises rotor representing two or several pairs of cams either relatively displaced or arranged on both sides of plane. Rotor is rigidly coupled with shaft. Engine comprises cylindrical housing with guide orifices for rectangular-section slides. Engine comprises also cover, slides with rotary shoes and slide return springs. Four variable-volume chambers are arranged between slides, rotor cams and engine housing. Engine cover accommodates combustion chamber. Slides with shoes separate compression and working stroke chambers. Engine comprises combustion chamber cover with check valve and jet, or ignition plug. Engine comprises slides separating intake and gas exhaust chambers. Slides are spring loaded toward the rotor via rocker arm. All four strokes of a cycle occur at a time. Rotor revolves to open suction and close exhaust orifices.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, simplified design and reduced metal input.
