FIELD: automotive engineering. SUBSTANCE: rotary internal combustion engine has hollow casing with separating blades, working cylinder, and combustion chambers. The casing is made up of two parts, and has rotor with shaft accommodated in working cylinder, piston projection, radial lugs with end seals, bypass mechanism with twin blades, and blade drive mechanism in the form of pairs of cam disks rigidly connected to the rotor. The engine also has cooling and lubrication systems. The rotor is provided with two annular projections having an outer radius equaling the radius of piston lug hermetically sealed thereto and engaging with the surface of the cylinder. The bypass mechanism includes a recess made on the frontal surface of the piston lug. The casing includes two adjacent half-cylinders. The cams are rigidly connected to annular disks of the rotor. Radial seals have the form of an array of radially curved flexible plates of rectangular cross section having bevels at ends and extending in the plane of the rotor. End seals have the form of circular grooves in annular projections of the rotor and casing intended to receive compression rings.
