EXPRESS DIAGNOSTIC TECHNIQUE FOR DUODENAL ULCER Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC G01N33/68 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: express diagnostics of duodenal ulcer is ensured by arranging two-three glass plates within projection of duodenum at the half-distance between tip of xiphoid process and navel. The plates are pre-coated with a path-type biological test system in amount 0.01-0.02 ml, containing the components: 0.2% aqueous solution of amino acids (asparaginic acid, glycine, tryptophane, leucine, proline, arginine, threonine, series in equal proportions); 0.25% DNA sodium salt; 25% aqueous solution magnesia sulphate in the ratio 5:1:4. The plates are kept for 2-3 minutes; then the preparation is dried at temperature +18-20°C throughout 2-3 minutes. The analysis is carried out in polarised light with a quartz compensator. If crystals - spiral aggregates with diamond inclusions and/or spiral discharged subparallel aggregates with dendritic inclusions circumferentially, fibril-like subparallel aggregates, bayonet-shaped subparallel aggregates, plateaus of low-density subparallel aggregates - are observed, ulcer is diagnosed. Large sripal subparallel aggregates and/or plateaus of from undirected aggregates indicate cicatricial change.

EFFECT: method improves information value, eliminates invasiveness, and reduces material costs of diagnostics of duodenal ulcer.
