SUBSTANCE: in the device there recorded are temperatures using signals from temperature sensors fixed on various heat release sources located on various component parts of the switch and having high probability of false operation at high temperature; at that, recorded temperatures are compared to the specified reference temperatures, and if recorded temperatures are higher than specified reference temperatures as per the results of this comparison, it is determined that automatic air switch has the possibility of false operation, and if it is determined that automatic air switch has the possibility of false operation, tripper coil is brought into operation to trip automatic air switch.

EFFECT: improving reliability by preventing false operation.
