FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to controlled release (20), which contains magnetic actuator (210), containing connecting element (2102) designed for connection to mechanism (110) of switching circuit breaker (10) to switch it and coil (2101) made with the possibility of moving connecting element (2102) in open position, when a current pulse is applied with intensity greater than the first set threshold value and with duration greater or equal to the set duration, and control device (220) made with the possibility of power supply to coil (2101) immediately after control signal (Vcmd) is received using the pulse sequence with duration equal to the set duration and with intensity greater or equal to the first threshold value and less or equal to the second threshold value, which is equal to at most 120% of the first threshold value.
EFFECT: providing faster and more reliable operation of a circuit breaker.
