FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method for development of felling sites includes preparation of main runs arranged in its diagonals, loading stations at the border of quarter and apiary runs. Method provides for use of flank type machine. Apiary runs are laid along trajectory in the form of spiral with centre in point of main runs crossing. Spiral consists of straight sections with points of bending in areas of their crossing with main runs. Development of felling site in process of the main operations performance during felling works is started in its centre. Following movement of machine along apiary runs and processing trees located at semi-apiaries from one of sides along with the machine motion, with trajectory of machine motion in the form of spiral with centre in area of main runs crossing, it is turned and moved reversely along earlier passed route with processing of trees intended for cutting and located at other semi-apiaries.

EFFECT: method, due to rational placement of main and apiary runs, reduces idle running of machines involved in felling, improves their efficiency and reduces action of forest skidding machines at soil surface of felling sites.
