FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to design of multilayer panel and method of multilayer panel manufacturing. Such multilayer panel, produced by means of foaming in product, consists of foamed thermoplastic internal layer and two external layers, which contain at least one thermoplastic external layer reinforced with fibers. Multilayer panel is produced by means of foaming in product. At the same time total amount of physical foaming agent, selected from the group that contains swelling agent, mixture of swelling agent and dissolvent and dissolvent with extremely low ability of thermoplastic dissolution at room temperature, makes less than 0.5% by weight. Method for manufacturing of multilayer panel includes operations. At the first operation of assembly, internal web, which includes at least one sheet of thermoplastic material, which comprises some amount of suitable physical foaming agent, is placed between two external layers. Assembly of internal web and external layers is carried out between two press plates. Due to heat and pressure applied to internal web, internal web foaming and its efficient adhesion to external layers are achieved. At the same time distance is increased between press plates to obtain previously specified thickness of foamed internal layer. Then foamed assembled unit is left to cool down. Residual physical foaming agent is removed in process of further drying operation at higher temperature. At the same time physical foaming agent leakage through peripheral edges of panels is limited, for instance by application of impermeable tape or pressing with the help of clamps at initial stage of specified period of time.

EFFECT: manufacturing of multilayer panel, which includes at least one thermoplastic external layer reinforced with fibers, which has not any or almost no burrs in surfaces of external product layers.
