FIELD: presses.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a press for the production of a multilayered panel. Press (10) for the production of a multilayered panel of a “sandwich” type (sandwich panel) contains first and second press plates (12; 14), which can be mutually moved. The press has a liquid circulation contour for heating and cooling of press plates. The liquid circulation contour contains heater (22) for the production of heated liquid, having outlet (21) connected to liquid supply pipeline (24) and inlet (25) connected to liquid return pipeline (26). Moreover, liquid supply pipeline (24) communicates with inlet (18) of at least one inner circulation channel (16) in each press plate (12; 14). Liquid return pipeline (26) communicates with outlet (20) of at least one inner circulation channel (16) in each press plate (12, 14). The liquid circulation contour has controllable expanding valve (34) intended for conversion of hot water under pressure into steam for cooling of press plates (12, 14), as well as water supply source (38), outlet (39) of which communicates with inlet (18) of at least one inner circulation channel (16) in each press plate (12; 14) by means of water supply pipeline (40).

EFFECT: improvement of uniformity of a temperature along surfaces of press plates, in particular, during a primary cooling stage.
