SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of production of lining ceiling panels. Proposed is a panel and a method of manufacturing thereof. The panel contains a layer of cured polymer foam formed by applying a foamable composition to the edge surface of the panel and further shaping and curing. The panel contains artificial glassy fibers or cement-fibrolite material.
EFFECT: invention allows creating a panel devoid of edge surface defect.
