FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed coupler assembly comprises coupling element consisting of coupler rod and coupler ball, and coupling element holding device. Holding device is furnished with means to mount it on vehicle and elongated holding element. Coupling element allows rotation about axis parallel to holding element. Coupling element is jointed to holding device to move in direction parallel to holding device in IN and OUT positions, and to rotate about hinge axis perpendicular to holding element in between primary position whereat coupler ball stays in its lower position and secondary position whereat said ball stays in higher position.
EFFECT: simple and safe design of removal coupler.
