FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: multipurpose vehicle is designed for carriage of loads by different transport in one trip and for maintaining and connecting modified semitrailers to form train. Semitrailers can be used on highways as standard vehicles. Proposed vehicle consists of two lower frames with "wheel/rail" unit, and pneumatic units charged with compressed air and installed between lower and upper frames.
