FIELD: packing industry.
SUBSTANCE: cap for sealing a bottle with gas-containing liquid comprising a base connected to the shell embracing the bottle neck and a device for the bottle opening comprising a line for the cap strength weakening made on the cap outer side. The strength weakening line is a groove with a thin membrane on its bottom; the bottle opening device comprises additionally a detachable element which is placed in the groove and can be removed physically; the thin membrane is thick enough to be broken under the action of the gas pressure in the bottle.
EFFECT: new cap design preventing spontaneous liquid outflow due to the gradual reduction of gas pressure in the bottle as far as the thin membrane is breaking.
