SUBSTANCE: in method humate-containing preparations and/or fertilisers are tested for activity by means of their screening for content of benz(a)pyrene in them. Required amount of humate-containing preparation and/or fertilisers on its basis is produced to make working solution with optimal range of benz(a)pyrene concentration, which corresponds to high biological activity for certain type of plants and/or seeds treatment. In method biochemical activity of plants is increased. Biological active substance used for leaf treatment of plants is represented by humate-containing preparations and/or fertilisers on their basis with content of benz(a)pyrene in working solution in the range of concentrations of 3-10 ng/dm³, prepared prior to its application not later than 6 hours earlier. In method for preplant treatment of seeds content of benz(a)pyrene in working solution makes 150-200 ng/dm³. For root treatment of plants content of benz(a)pyrene in working solution makes 0.1-0.3 ng/dm³.

EFFECT: improved validity and efficiency of biological activity and testing of humate-containing preparations and fertilisers on their basis.
