SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and can be used in the technology of growing carrots. Foliar dressing by fine-dispersed irrigation of the aerial part of vegetative carrot plants is carried out with working solution of liquid humic fertilizer in the phase of 3-4 leaves and at the beginning of the formation of root crops. As a liquid humic fertilizer use is made of the production of liquid-phase biofeedback for plant growing and agriculture, is a humic-containing material whose active principle is the carbon of organic matter Corg – 30.0…40.0 wt%, and, in addition, including macronutrients, wt%: nitrogen Ntotal – 1.15…1.80; phosphorus P2O5 – 1.4…2.2; potassium K2O – 1.0…2.3; calcium CaO – 1.1…1.6; magnesium MgO – 0.2…0.8 and microelements: at least boron, copper, cobalt, manganese, selenium, silicon. Material is stirred three times with a 1.5–2.0 % aqueous solution of potassium hydroxide each time in a ratio of 1:10 at a speed of 20 rpm at a temperature of 60 °C for at least 1 h and allowed to stand after each stirring at a temperature of 60 °C for 2 hours, followed by separation and pooling of the supernatant, with a concentration of 0.33 % in the working fluid at a rate of 300 l/ha. Second and third foliar top dressings are carried out with a periodicity of three weeks after the first foliar top dressing of carrot plants.

EFFECT: provides an increase in the yield of carrots and the improvement of its quality.
