FIELD: road construction industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to design of upper construction of rail road, and namely to water drain constructions for draining surface and ground water, and can also be used for draining other constructions, including automobile roads. Water drain tray is made from composite material and has housing containing covering which is trough-shaped in cross section and which has stiffeners located outside along generatrix of the covering. As per version 1, housing is assembled and consists of composite covering, the external circuit of which has locking elements located with pitch along cross section, as well as stiffeners, the internal circuit of which has mating locking elements. Locking elements on the covering are linear and oriented along the tray. As per version 2, housing is assembled and consists of composite covering including the base and side walls, the external circuit of which has locking elements, as well as stiffeners having side walls and the base, the internal circuit of which has mating locking elements; at that, on side walls of the covering and stiffeners, locking elements are linear and located along conjugation lines of walls with stiffeners across the tray, locking elements on the bases of covering are linear and oriented along the tray with pitch across cross section. Base of covering and/or its side walls consist of elements.

EFFECT: developing the design of trays, which allows minimising costs on their transportation to installation place, as well as considerably decreasing costs on their manufacture, especially in case of manufacture from fibreglass, owing to possibility of their being manufactured by pultrusion method.
