FIELD: food package. SUBSTANCE: according to first version, package has rectangular tray part molded from polymeric material and provided with side walls inclined relative to bottom and equipped with crimping extending along their perimeter, and cover part configured similar to tray part and joined to it through crimping along one of tray long side so that cover may be folded multiple times. Tray part bottom is made flat and provided with channels defining net pattern over the entire surface of bottom, and side walls of tray and cover parts are made flat and smooth. Tray part has U-shaped rigidity rib extending along perimeter of crimping and side walls junction portion, and cover has slot extending along mentioned perimeter and adapted for accommodating U-shaped rigidity rib, when cover is closed. Closure for package is defined by projections on rigidity rib of tray part and recesses formed in cover slot. Projections and recesses on one side of package are extending in direction perpendicular to tray bottom, and on other side - in direction parallel with tray bottom. According to second version, package for hot food has open cut made in side walls of tray and cover parts and framed with rigidity rib extending along slot. EFFECT: simplified construction and manufacture method, improved operational characteristics and provision for keeping food qualities. 3 cl, 16 dwg
