FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to fixture elements. A nail for connection of boards consists of a body, a tip and a nail head. According to the first version the body is made with thickness not less 0.1 from thickness of connected boards and width of 10-15 thicknesses of the nail body; while the nail head is made at the middle of the body, is rigidly connected to it and has width equal to thickness of connected boards; the nail head is of a rectangular or circular shape; the tip of the nail is pointed at angle of 25-30 degrees in plane of a wide section of the nail body. According to the second version the nail body is made with diametre not less one tenth of thickness of connected boards; the nail head is made at the middle of the body and is rigidly connected to it, it has width equal to thickness of connected boards and is of rectangular or circular shape; also a conic tip with 25-30 degrees of angle of pointing is made at each end. According to the third version the nail head is made at the middle of the body, is rigidly connected to it, has width equal to thickness of connected boards and is of rectangular or circular shape; the nail body is conic tapered at both ends starting from the tip end and ending aflush with end surface of the nail head without changing tapering value along the whole length of that half of the nail where it is made.

EFFECT: end-to-end connection of boards.
