FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: fastening nail includes a head, a shank in the form of a spoke and a tip converging in the shank axis direction. The shank is made so that angle of inclination to axial direction reduces to the tip end. Tapered angle on the tip end is 25° to 90°. At that, the tip includes at least one side surface made in the form of a concave curved surface.
EFFECT: reduction of crack formation during nailing; reduction of force required for nailing to provide the possibility of manual nailing.
