SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for acoustic insulation between radiators and receivers in a well acoustic device. An acoustic insulator, lying between an acoustic source and an acoustic receiver, has: an outer casing, an element which runs inside the outer casing, a spring assembly which lies between the element and the inner wall of the outer casing, where the element is made with possibility of axial sliding and rolling across the inside of the outer casing. The element and spring assembly are made with possibility of attenuating acoustic energy passing through the device.

EFFECT: provision for acoustic insulation when measuring longitudinal and bending waves at given frequencies, as well as provision for high mechanical strength of the acoustic insulator.
