FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to electric engineering, in particular to electromagnetic actuators for switching devices, and is intended for interruption of emergency currents. Electromagnetic actuator for direct current switch containing at least one movable and one fixed contact, switching-off spring, trip-free release spring, magnetic conductor with holding coil, main armature, trip-free release armature and tie rods. The main armature and trip-free release armature are located on one axis. Herewith, the trip-free release armature is located inside magnetic conductor.
EFFECT: decrease in actuator length, improvement of isolation, increase in reliability during emergency currents interrupting and providing serviceability.
