FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to linear accelerators of charged particles. The accelerator has a pulse generating unit for generating N pulsed signals with different energy levels, where N is equal to greater than 2, N units for generating N microwaves with different energy levels based on the said N pulsed signals, respectively. The accelerator also has a unit, which has N inputs and one output, for energy mixing, input and output of N microwaves, a unit for generating N beams of particles synchronously with the said N microwaves, and an acceleration unit for accelerating N beams of particles, respectively. The accelerator is designed for use in radiographic imaging, radioactive medicine and in the technology of radiation treatment.

EFFECT: multiple energy level particle accelerator with frequency multiplication can alternately produce beams of particles with different energy levels, has improved operating frequency.
