FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and is intended for differential diagnostics of highly- and low-malignant glial tumors of brain. After intravenous introduction of radiopharmaceutical preparation single-photon emission computed tomography is carried out. Examination is performed after 1 hour and after 4 hours. If 1 hour after preparation introduction nidus of intensive pathological accumulation, remaining in repeated examination after 4 hours, is detected on tomoscintograms, tumor of high degree of malignancy is diagnosed. If pathologic accumulation of preparation is absent during examination after 1 hour and niduses of accumulation appear during repeated examination, glial tumors of low degree of malignancy are diagnosed.
EFFECT: claimed method allows to give differential diagnosis basing on single-photon emission computed tomography of brain.
