FIELD: welding.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used during repair of through holes made in metal parts, namely during repair of jet turbine engine flange made from aluminium alloy. Metal pin is brought into rotation and installed in hole of part on its face side to be connected to the part. On reverse side of the plugged part a support part having a cavity is installed. On face side of plugged part a retaining part is installed. Pin can be made from plugged part material or from another material. Support and retaining parts can be made from any material which is inert in relation to plugged part material.
EFFECT: method provides maintaining mechanical properties of plugged part and allows its being subject to further mechanical treatment.
