FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to power engineering, particularly to systems of combined engines running on solid fuel and incorporating device designed to generate gaseous fuel from solid carbon that contains, in particular peat, dam wood or wastes thereof. Proposed device comprises internal combustion engine with feed and discharge lines, gasificator with branch pipe and pipeline to discharge waste gases, evaporator, generator gas cleaning-cooling device mounted on generator gas pipeline and communicated, via cleaned and cooled gas line, with accumulating tank. The latter communicates with ICE feed pipeline. Proposed device comprises also gas blower, fan and gas mixer. Gasificator represents a vertical downdraught gasification apparatus and incorporates chamber designed for preliminary drying of fuel fed for gasification and arranged at upper part of gasificator. Lower part of the latter has hole to discharge solid residues, branch pipe and pipeline to discharge generator gas and branch pipes to feed warmed up air. Gas blower is mounted on pipeline discharging generator gas and arranged ahead of cleaning-cooling device. Fan communicates with the latter and branch pipe to feed warmed-up air to gasificator. Cleaned and cooled generator gas pipeline incorporates branch communicated with evaporator. The latter represents steam generator with steam branch pipe communicated with gas generator steam feed branch pipe gas generator combustion product discharge branch pipe, in its turn communicated with gas mixer. The latter communicates with ICE exhaust gas discharge pipeline and that feeding gaseous heat carrier to chamber of preliminary fuel drying. Proposed method is implemented at above described device.

EFFECT: continuous operation, expanded performances, higher efficiency.
