FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: measurement of force applied with axis of wheel (5) of railway transport to rail (3) is performed by using rail plate (1) made in the form of single solid structure, stress concentrators of which are isolated from environment with housing of rail plate which is installed not less than on one reinforced-concrete sleeper (2) or on embedded parts of reinforced-concrete base for axial measurement of railway transport in motion or in static mode. Force from rail base is transferred to rail plate platform under which stress concentrators acting as weight sensor are installed.
EFFECT: simplifying design of weighs owing to their modular construction and excluding intermediate force-transmitting elements, providing easy installation of weighs and their maintenance, and improving weighing accuracy.
