FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: proposed weigher is designed to determine axial loads of cars. It has air-tight receiver of load with strain-measuring devices arranged between butts of rails. Receiver of load is placed with clearance not exceeding value of temperature compensation and with elevation of 1.0 mm of its plane above working plane of rails. Members attaching receiver of load to tail can be manufactured in the form of zigzag strips. Receiver can be positioned at points of disengagement of rails, it can be made in the form of cylindrical body which houses two restoring members mounted for reception of deformation through conical members coupled to body and having opposite direction of cones. Restoring members can be cut longitudinally into tabs. With arrival of output signals from strain-measuring gauges and their feed to measurement and information complex weigher makes it possible to generate weight data falling at each wheel of cars in process of their movement.
