FIELD: vehicle engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicles, particularly to work stations incorporating operator's seat and visual observation devices arranged inside and outside the cab. Device to measure visibility comprises self-aligning laser level instrument (1), support (2) with scale to measure angular displacement of the upper part of aforesaid support relative to its bottom part, clamp (3) and its fasteners for it to mount above listed components inside vehicle. The latter consists of lengthwise, vertical and crosswise tubes (9, 7, 5 and 10) interjointed to ensure structural stiffness and to allow level instrument (1) to travel in three directions, i.e., back-forth, right-left and up-down. Level instrument (1) is arranged at the top of support (2), while support bottom is arranged on clamp (3) attached to crosswise tubes (5).
EFFECT: higher accuracy.
