FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device allows estimating visibility range from driver's seat with due allowance for distribution of light flux. Device comprises laser range finder, support with scale to measure angular travel support top part relative to bottom part. Said range finder is secured at support top part, support bottom part being secured to foundation fastened in the vehicle. Range finder can rotate in horizontal plane and translate in vertical plane.
EFFECT: higher accuracy, ease of use.
