SUBSTANCE: invention relates to public-key encryption. Isogenies of Abelian sets (for example elliptical curves, in a one dimensional case) are used to provide a public-key encryption system. For example, isogenies allow for using a set of curves instead of a single curve to provide for high reliability. Given methods can be used in identity based encryption (IBE) and digital signing. Also isogenies can be used in other applications, such as blind signature, hierarchical systems and the like. Also disclosed are solutions for generating isogenies.
EFFECT: increased level of security of cryptosystems.
